Howdy Hello:
Thanks for stopping by! Here it is at long last. Heaps of thanks to a cast of thousands that was seemingly on deck, lending a hand throughout … most notably Bonnie Hayes, Jim Dean, Rafael Landea, Michael Read and Yolanda Hodde. I’m the gratefullest of gratefuls … really I am.
Feedback is welcome here if you’re so inspired, tell your friends and stay tuned for news about upcoming performances! Thank you kindly again.
Love, Candace

I’ve listened to it several times and am so impressed with your original lyrics, the music and most of all, your truly beautiful voice! Some of my personal favorites are “Somewhere Else”, “Handbag”, “Dimples” and “Cescalona”. I’m so glad you’re using your talent to make something that is meaningful and important and allows the rest of us to enjoy the music!!!
Many Thanks!
this album is great! it is fun and serious, strange yet comfortable. not your typical singer-songwriter stuff, very original. superb harmonies and unique instrumentation. i love it! check out “handbag” and “layover man”.
This cd is awesome!! It’s a full album in the old school kick ass sense. A theatrical experience that gets better with each listen. Music is wholly original and unique, voice is mesmerizing, poppy and operatic all in one. Fun, inspired lyrics, great music, cool artwork. Thank you Candace!!
This album is beautiful, funny, touching, thoughtful, and entirely original. I LOVE IT!!!!!!! May it be listened to far and wide. And dear Candace, your voice is gorgeous!!!!!
Passes my “play over and over continuously over multiple days” test.
The jokes are even funny the second and third time around.
Amazing that this is a debut album.
Someone called it “theatrical.”
Exactly.
I can’t get over the sense that this is the sound track to a hit musical, the stories the songs tell and the characters they summon are that vivid.
What a magical voice you share with the world! And behind the voice is a soul-searching, compassionate, intelligent, and thoughtful person. You thank your family for “teaching me the importance of being irreverent” but the reality is that this debut album demonstrates an overwhelming sense of reverence…for art…for music……for community…for essential friends…for the inner journey of life. In order to look outward, we must first look inward. You, my dearest Candace, have achieved more in your years on this planet than most people ever dare to hope to achieve in a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your music with all of us. We’re the lucky ones.
