Welcome back to 50 Mason Social House with this month’s guest: Wesley Morgan

Wesley and I went to music school together so it’s a real treat to be sharing the evening with him.

What is Wesley all about? Broken-down blues rolling out of a Saturday night juke joint, and stumbling drunk into Sunday morning redemption. Junkyard swing that is ragged and raw, with melodies that drop off, bend, and crack. Swamp noir imagery full of charming devils and angels with broken wings.

I host a regular monthly gig at 50 Mason Social House. It is the first Wednesday of every month from 7-10 pm featuring performances by “moi” and various musical guests. Stay tuned for more shows at 50 Mason Social House!

Hola Hola …..
I’m feeling super optimistic about this year. It’s starting off with a bang with three performances in quick succession. First up, the Red Devil Lounge on Jan 12th @ 7:30. I’m also thrilled to be hosting a regular monthly gig at 50 Mason Social House. It is the first Wednesday of every month from 7-10 pm featuring performances by yours truly and an array of musical guests. Vanessa Verlee will be showing up for the Jan 18th show and Circus Finelli will roll in for the Feb 1st show.

Furthermore, I’m working with a new bass and tuba player, Marty Eggers. I seriously couldn’t sleep after we first played together. Plus, I continue to be blessed with the rock-steady support and musicianship of Larisa Migachyov on piano.

I also aim to shoot a music video this year … so stay tuned!

Welcome back to 50 Mason Social House with this month’s guest: CIRCUS FINELLI

Circus Finelli: (7-8pm)

Circus Finelli is San Francisco’s all-women clown troupe. They perform at theatres and music venues, as well as private events. Circus Finelli is a multi-lingual troupe, joking in several languages. Their style draws from the traditions of European Circus, and American Vaudeville. They present irreverent circus comedy with danger and delight.

Candace Roberts continues to promote her debut album “Honeymoon for One” while also performing some new originals and old standards. This month’s show features new addition, Marty Eggers, on bass and tuba as well as, old faithful, Larisa Migachyov, on piano.
